Our Quantity Surveyors take great pride in managing contracts and working towards ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with the contract and within budget, programme and quality requirements.

Our services include:

• Payment Claim Management  – we review claims received and assess that the claimed values are commensurate with work undertaken on site. We prepare Payment Schedules in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. 

• Variation Forecasting – we review and evaluate the cost implications of Contract Instructions issued to the Contractor.

• Variation Claim Management – we review variation submissions received from the Contractor in accordance with the contract conditions. This includes assessment of submissions, negotiation with Contractor and if applicable recommendation for approval to our client.

• Financial Reporting – we provide regular reports to provide our clients with an overview of the project’s financial status including accurate forecasting of a project’s “cost to complete” to ensure that there are no financial surprises.

• Risk Management – we work closely with the project team to identify risks, work towards understanding implications of risk in terms of cost and time delays and assist with management of risk.

• Dispute Resolution – in the event of any disputes arising with contractors, we work closely with the parties to assist with resolution of issues. 

• Retentions – we ensure our clients are fully aware of their obligations around holding retentions and assist by managing the process where required, in line with the terms of the Contract;

• Final Accounts – we assist by working closely with the contracted parties to negotiate, agree and close out final accounts.
