A challenging but successful project managed by Focus Project Services, from concept to completion. This multi-faceted project involved retro-fitting and partial recladding of a front office building, plus structural strengthening work to a large pick-and-pack warehouse. Both works were undertaken and completed within fully functional and operational environments.

Focus approached this as a 2-part process. The first part focussed on the strengthening and partial recladding of a fully-staffed and operational front office building. The second part required the Focus team to engineer and complete an earthquake strengthening strategy to the attached 2000sqm pick-and-pack warehouse. The aim was to complete the works in a way which allowed the warehouse and office to remain fully operational and without interruption to the daily “picking” operations.

Works included welding at high level in a live environment and installing heavy steel members either end of the warehouse - all without compromise to warehouse operatives safety or ability to complete their required work tasks.

Focus Project Services managed all facets of the project from inception to completion. The project was completed under budget and on programme with minimal disruption to the tenant and warehouse operations.
